Numb and Indifferent

"You're acting like you're not my sister."

Have you ever been told something like this by your sibling? I have. Just yesterday - and it feels like nothing.

A few months back I would have shed a lot of tears thinking that I'm actually eating a decent dinner while my brother was stuck in Iligan, amidst the rebels and their guns. A few more months back, I would have been stressed out because he just got held up by armed men and I was in my room, safe and sound. A few months back, I would have pleaded with him, crying with my heart, for him to please stop all his nonsense and start living a better life.

My brother is actually not stupid by definition. In fact, he has quite an intellectual head on his shoulders. He was almost always an achiever in elementary school; we just couldn't figure out why it all changed.

Now it just pains me to think and see how he's wasting everything, all the sacrifices my parents are going through, his time and his life. He actually knows how hard it is to make money, but instead of taking advantage of some skills he managed to scour during high school, like his ability to play really good billiards, or his know-how with computers, networking and the like, plus his keen strategies with online multiplayer games, all from which he makes a decent amount of money, he just takes them lightly, takes all his “earnings” for granted, uses them up for non-sensible things like roaming around the mall doing nothing, or eating his heart out not with real meals but tiny snacks whole day long. He doesn’t care that my parents sometimes goes berserk looking for someone who can lend them any amount just to send it to him because he says “he’s not eating anything anymore” when in fact he just replied to my SMS saying he can’t go to our house to eat or stay for the night because he’s busy with a Dota or counterstrike tournament they joined with his “guild”. He couldn’t care less that mom and dad are actually also just swallowing their pride asking for loans or just drinking instant coffee instead of enjoying meals together, considering they’re no longer supporting me financially, because he told them he already needs food allowance and doesn’t want to eat in their dorm’s cafeteria where he can just list down his consumption because he’s stricken with pride or shame if you allow the term, when in fact he just turned down an invitation from us to just go to the house so he can finish off all the contents of our refrigerator at about midnight (thinking I don’t know what he’s doing) because he’d rather sleep and wait for one of his friends to come over so they can go to the mall and cool themselves with the airconditioning and later go off to another computer tournament thing. He isn't bothered by one bit that my mom almost went crazy trying to look for money to send to him to pay for his tuition fee, while he on the other hand, after learning that the money was already sent, took his sweet time withdrawing and lining up in the school tellers, and later telling my worried mom that he didn't pay his tuition yet because he didn't make it with the priority number and that it's really quite tiring to wait in line.

It pains me that when I was in college, I’d rather bang my head onto the wall for not understanding our lessons and striving to really get my brain working properly and fend off that 2.0 grade for fear of seeing that famous daddy’s facial expression that says “You could’ve done better. Is it really that hard?” While my brother lauds himself for just passing a major subject and dropping PE or Filipino.

It pains me how I was raised to be so responsible I’d pass as a guy. So independent it sometimes annoys my husband so much because it seems as if I really don’t need anyone at all to survive. While he, on the other hand, still asks stupid questions like, “If today’s voyage is already fully-booked, what will I do next?”

It pains me how I put too much value to my parents’ financial woes, emotional and psychological stress because they want to give my brother a decent education, a convenient way of life and even a few pleasures here and there, yet he instead has reversed that order of priority into having a more than convenient life - too much fashion-related purchases, extravagant gifts for a girlfriend I don't really know for sure and surely don't care anymore if he cheats on or not, too much time in internet cafes, too much strolling in the mall with a friend, too much sleeping, and just very few hours with classes, a few projects or maybe even none, a few texts to his sister asking for load because he had a quarrel with his girlfriend and his 100 peso prepaid load has already been zeroed-out, a nonexistent “achiever”-looking list of grades which translates to more dropped and flunked classes than passed, and even showing himself to his sister and his brother-in-law only twice this semester and expecting to get a belated-birthday gift or a “despedida” when he hasn’t even bought a ticket to go home yet, considering he was already sent the money the previous day.

It pains me now that before I even exerted effort on pleading with him to get his life straight, that even up to this day, my parents think that it just goes natural for me to casually ask my brother how he’s doing. It pains me now, that my only brother doesn’t pay any kind of respect to me, even just for the sake of birthright, because it has gotten to him how my grandfather seduces him into thinking they should be very close because he’s going to inherit almost everything, which is absolutely not true at all. It has gotten to him how the phrase “you’re even brighter than all your cousins” sounds so endearing when in fact he has wasted all his abilities with games, lies and living a mediocre life.

It pains me that my parents cannot even exert some form of authority over him or instill fear nor demand respect from him, when I used to cringe on even the thought of dad or mom being even the least bit angry with me about anything at all.

It pains me that my parents beg me to talk sense into my brother thinking he’s actually going to listen, not understanding how, for so many years in the making, I have grown fed up, tired, angry, frustrated, dismayed, and now, indifferent to my very own brother.

As a Christian, it pains me, that I cannot be one to my own blood brother. I just cannot forgive and reach out to an unbelieving brother. Not now. Not tomorrow nor the next month. It pains me that no matter how tempting it is to curse someone, I most certainly cannot do so, for the fear of God and because he still is my brother. But I have stopped being a sister. I have even stopped “acting” like one.

It pained me before. But now I’m numb. Numb and indifferent.

Gold is Always Shiny

I don't know if you have tried it, but a lot of people say it's a good thing.

Gold seems to be a one of the most coveted investment tools nowdays and a lot have been thinking about starting an investment portfolio including gold coins and bullions. Since gold doesn't seem to have fluctuating prices, gold is one of the "safest" investments you can go to given you have enough information and are guided by superb advisors and co-investors.

Like, have you tried pawning your gold rings? I have tried it, and so far I haven't had any experience with the rate going down, the pawn value of gold always goes up which means that investing in gold is quite a wise thing to do. So how about it? Want gold coins?

Or try these for size...

Need Farmville Help?

UPDATE:
Just in! The latest version of Farmville Magic Tools (v1.4) can now be downloaded HERE.

A lot of us, and I do emphasize the words A LOT, play farmville in facebook and somehow we always try to find ways on how to level up easier and faster.

Aside from the already published hacks and tricks and cheats, like using cheat engine and trying to understand gibberish on how to tweak your browser codes just to make harvesting easier, there are still those good souls who chose to develop applications or bots which are more easy to use and won't cost you anything.

Just like what I'm using now - Farmville Magic Tool. Sorry I just forgot where I downloaded it from, but to make all your lives easier, I've uploaded my copy so you can use it too. It's a .zip file so you have to extract it first.

You can click on the image to enlarge it or just adjust your vision to finish reading my post... *giggles*

Farmville Magic Tools has an actual tab for instructions, and bot where you click on what to do. Just take note that, for the bot to recognize your farm, make sure that the small area where the tabs for Free Gifts, Neighbors, etc. is visible before dragging that cow into the game window.

I also included another of these clickers in my files so you can have a choice between the two. But I'm currently using Farmville Magic Tools, not that you'd prefer what I'm using, right?

So here are the links again, just in case you missed them.

I hope this made your Farmville life a little easier. And oh, add me as a neighbor. *wink wink*

Martial Law Madness!

3 Days and counting. Too much buzz over that famous Martial law declaration in Maguindanao. I'm getting bored with it already. What's new? They called in a recess - they're not having a session today. Sige go. Matapos n'yo kaya yan or mauuna yung 60 days? Hay nako... [Go ahead. Will you finish that or the 60-day implementation time frame with end first? *Sigh*]

Note: Bear with me on the translations. lol!

Anyway. I just happened to see this floating around in my tweetdeck thingy through @kingdelrosario, my high school friend I referred to in this post, and it said,
"Twit tweets from Professional Heckler. Funny. http://bit.ly/8rLh6J"...
And as curious as my braincells can go, I immediately clicked on the link and this is what came out.

Okay, I'd have to re-direct you to his page, 'coz I don't want to be cited for stealing content via copy-paste!

Did you enjoy it? It was really amusing and fascinating how he could have thought about that kind of thing. He must have so much time to spare! lol!

Getting Married? Where's the RING?

One of Tom's (and now mine too) close family friends is getting married this December 17. Good for them I should say. So far I believe all the preparations have gone good and we have even received their very classy chocolate brown invitation, which was very nice.

This gets me to think and now makes me itching to ask some of my "older" friends when the heck their getting hitched. It's not like I'm hurrying them up or something, but they really should think about it soon enough. And one thing they should prepare for are the rings, don't you agree?

First, there's the engagement ring. Mine was not so surprising. Tom and I were together when he got it. I even chose the design. Anyway.

Then there's the wedding ring or band itself. Hmm. What design would you like? Or your soon-to-be-bride? Has it occurred to you that maybe your tastes are not that similar? How about the material? Will you settle for just white gold, or yellow gold? How about platinum? titanium? or tungsten?

Apparently, tungsten wedding bands or rings are also very well preferred nowadays, aside from the conventional gold or silver bands, since tungsten wedding rings are almost virtually scratch resistant - resistant, meaning it CAN be scratched but only under extreme pressures and using harder materials like diamonds - these rings are most likely to stay with you forever.

Convinced now? Try "window" shopping.  :)

PGMA's Report on Martial Law

As we all know by now, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has declared Martial Law on the province of Maguindanao while we all are hoping that her father's soul, former President Diosdado Macapagal, is not turning on his grave nor wishing to be dead once again.

Straight from Inquirer.net is the full text of PGMA's report on the declaration of Martial Law, sent thru her secretary Eduardo Ermita - same as what she did on the proclamation, she sent Ermita to do the dirty work, so it will not be herself on the history books nor on the file videos of new networks. Duh.

To download or see the said report, click on this link.  LINK.
(Too literal, huh? lol!)

Anyway, on other issues aside from Martial Law, the government has issued some guidelines on the implementation or enforcement of the said thing, as can be seen here, and Manuel Quezon III said they may have just taken those from old files way back 1972. So resourceful, don't you think?

Just for fun, here are the videos of both declarations:

Arroyo through the kindness of Ermita:

On the Martial Law in Maguindanao

Because we haven't watched the news and I haven't seen the papers lately, I did not know that Martial Law was at last declared in Maguindanao.

And the current buzz in the world wide web right now is this: announcement to the whole world that the President just declared martial law in one of the provinces of the whole country, and that before, there was this statement of "Never again Martial Law", some tweets ask if it's lawful, some say that it's not because of this and that... here's a snapshot of the current twitter trend (click on the image to enlarge):

Atty. Marvic Leonen, Dean of UP Law, has published his statement already, see it here.
Senator Francis Pangilinan has also blogged about it here, saying (quoting directly from his post)

"Under Section 18 Article VII, Martial Law can only be declared if there is an invasion or rebellion. Neither is existing in the case of the Maguindanao massacre. The massacre is neither a rebellion nor an invasion but a case of multiple murders involving government officials loyal to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. The truth is all key personalities are now under police custody. The factual basis for a Martial Law declaration therefore appears to be inexistent."

I tell you, if your name is Martial Law, you just got famous! World renowned! Everybody, EVERYBODY is now talking about you in twitter!

Nie, should be name our child, when he/she comes, Martial Law?!
{Or maybe not, the child might think of cursing me for the rest of his/her blessed life.}

Friendster Revamped - Facebook Clone?

Have you visited your Friendster account lately?

Friendster now has a new homepage! It basically looks more funky with all the graphics and stuff, and GREEN-er... It also changed it's logo into something more creative and new, still with the smiley though; and the favicon? New too! Correct. It's green.

New features have also been added, like a virtual wallet, where you get virtual money to use in its virtual giftshop. They now also have a lot of games - even farming ones like farmtown and farmville - and in interactive shoutout stream, which looks more and more like the Facebook wall! New and improved photo uploading and viewing, and of course, a faster and better way to share your photos.

Sound like a clone yet? For your curiosity's sake, if you haven't logged into your Friendster.com account, here's how it looks like when you click on the HOME tab.

Robert Kiyosaki's Cashflow 101, 102

Tom and I have been spending a rather sizable chunk of our free time playing Cashflow 202. We have both Cashflow 101 and 202, but I'm speaking for the both of us when I say I like 202 better. It's more "challenging".

You can see Tom's evident like of the game since he refers to commonplace expenses such as taxi fare, green mangoes, movies, and even an ice cream stick as "Doodads".

Anyway, did you know that there's also a website called Rich Woman? It's more tailored for women and our needs. To visit the site, go to www.richwoman.com.

No Need to Resign

Alliances are strong, huh?

It says in this news bit that the SC justices in an en banc session today with an 8-6 vote said that encumbent government officials need not resign from their posts upon filing of COCs (Certificate of Candidacy) for next year's election.

I never really understood why they needed to resign in the first place. At least this goes with the earlier ruling that actors and actresses filing their COCs need not stop their projects since it's their profession. Hmm. Consistent? Or scheming?

:)

Never Gonna Be Alone

If ever.... I was forced to redo my whole wedding... (I used the word forced, because by choice, I wouldn't redo anything!)... I'd make sure that it was nicer for my family, and Tom's too. I wouldn't let anything, I mean not a single thing, get between myself and my family enjoying and imprinting this memory on our curly brains. Why would I say that?

Because... there were just too many nuisances during my wedding day! One thing is that mom and dad were just not acting normal. Mom was too silent, too zombie-ish. Dad was like, "Is Gov ok? Is Cong ok?".. Grrrhh. {Sorry, but it did get into my nerve later that day...You know what happened.} And as I see it, making himself too busy to notice the feeling of losing her daughter to his now son-in-law. Hmmm. It was also not so memorable for Tom's parents, except for the fact that they were too busy directing car pool and directing the crazy waiters where to bring the food. yes, the waiters were almost useless majority of the time.

But then again... Everything was really very good. I think all of those were already planned and there reallyw as nothing we could've done to prevent them.

Anyway, if we were even allowed to do a wedding dance, I would have chosen Butterfly Kisses for my Dad and I... or maybe this:

or this:

Nickelback's Never Gonna be Alone...  If it can be slow-danced to, you know. Harhar.

Ooooh! A Surprise Comment!

It felt a bit amusing to be surprised by a "surprise" comment on one of my posts. I was just editing some posts  to have updates included in them and tweeting them out when I noticed a link to a new comment, and viola! It was actually an unsolicited "comment" which was, in reality, a cry for help in spreading the word about their advocacy, that is, the Philippine Climate Adaptability Challenge.

So here's what exactly was written:

Hi,

This is Gladys Arañez and I’m one of the volunteers for Design Against The Elements. We are asking for your support to please help us spread our message in raising awareness re: Philippine Climate Adaptability Challenge. Please take time to visit the links below and please post comments and ratings. Below also is a message from our Executive Director, Illac Diaz.

Feel free to ask questions. You can reach me on my email: gladys_79@yahoo.com

Many, many thanks! :)

Climate change is real. Addressing climate change requires a mix of mitigation and adaptation. This requires more mitigation for industrialized countries and more adaptation for developing countries.

This can be translated into one simple scenario : While the industrialized world continues to send up tonnes of carbon into the atmosphere, whether or not we blur the amounts through carbon credits, hopes are fading for those who will be receiving the sharp end of the Damocles sword; the developing world. The urgency is to realize that this is not going to stop at 350 ppm, or even double at 600 ppm, the Philippines has to realize that despite all the petitions and feel good campaigns of dreams for a climate stabilized world, real solutions need to be done. We have to get to the part where we learnto start dealing with this. The country is located right beside the warmest parts of the ocean that is in the perfect storm of vulnerable coastlines, intense winds, and an observation of growing dumping of large amounts of rain.

We need to live in a world where climate will hit the poorest of the poor first, regardless of where they live, it will test our resiliency as a city, as a village, as a community, and specially as a people. This song is dedicated to the awareness that dealing with one ONDOY is not the victory, but a climate of change will be the battle of this generation.

Illac Diaz
Executive Director
Design Against The Elements

Have Fun this Christmas!

37 more days to go, and it's Christmas. I really don't want to think that I will be breaking a Christmas family tradition by not going home to my parents' house, but Tom and I really have to think about it sooner or later. Hmm, and this includes the finances... eeek!

This going home thing has been a yearly tradition particularly since I went off to other places to study, like Davao City for high school and Cebu City for college - so Christmas was something to look forward to.

For example, I'm always tasked to buy those round fruits - 13 of them if possible - but most of the time I just manage to bring 3 or 4 kinds, but mom doesn't seem to give too much attention to which ones. Personally I prefer bringing grapes since I can get one or two pieces every now and then. hehe.

Aside from the fruits and shirts and whatnots that I bring home, I also look forward to what activities are in store for everyone. Usually the cousins and myself go to Tita Ruby's house and take turns playing games or PSP. Sometimes I just prefer to be the nuisance since I'm the eldest. I love annoying other cousins 'til they cry. So bad, right?

Anyway, there were also times when the whole family stayed up late just talking in groups around one big dinner table, sometimes they take out the videoke thing and all those gifted with non-irking voices sing their hearts out, sometimes we play parlor games, like last Christmas when they even did Maria Went to Town. There were also times when group games like charades, scrabble, chikicha, tong-its and bingo were lined up. But this time... Hmm... Since there's a possibility that I won't be there physically... How about online games?
Online poker or online bingo? Anyone?  :)

Unauthorized Office Entry

Once again, someone tried...

And this time, failed.

*smirk* Good thing I withdrew all our keys from the Security office, or else, our very trusty Security people would have gladly opened the doors to our somewhat restricted office to anyone who bids them a soft-voiced anonymous plea to "Sir, would you please open the CIAD office?" at 7am in the morning.

Blech. Darn Security people are getting rusty.

First Online MALL in Cebu City - BILIVERY.COM

UPDATED:
I stand, mean post, corrected by the proponents themselves. BILIVERY.com is not just an online grocery store, it's gonna be a whole MALL. And by the word "mall" they really mean MALL - with music stores, hardware stuff, clothes, gadgets, appliances, pharmacy, bookstore, etc, etc, etc.! Got it?

~

Wondering what's a unique gift to give this Christmas? {Everyone's problem!}
How about, a unique way to give a common gift? Sounds better?

First in Cebu City, a fully online grocery store that will deliver your purchased items right into your doorstep! (Or the doorstep of your family, friends, loved ones, or complete strangers for the Christmas spirit.)

Bilivery.com first and foremost caters to the busy working moms who would conveniently and readily choose to have their groceries delivered than fight with the grueling traffic of day-to-day commute, especially at times when almost all of the working population is on the road.

Using Bilivery.com is so easy - with a site that's very user friendly:

Register for an account to start using the services of bilivery.com, click on the LOGIN link at the upper right hand part of the window/site and this will appear: (click on images to enlarge)

Mariah Carey - A Big Girl Now

Yes, ladies, she's a big girl now. She usually looks so fit and toned, is this part of a role? or is she letting go now?

Facebook Maintenance Conspiracy Theory

It's been day 2, I think, of this erratic activity from Facebook -

"Your account is temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance. It should be available again within a few hours. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Can it be?

This thought has just been a few seconds old as I'm typing this, and I'm still continuing to develop the theory, or at least the base of it...

It's really quite possible that Facebook wants to get its actual, or at least the near-the-truth actual figure of really how many users are registered and active in their use of Facebook. Sounds logical?

There has been an article already published here and another stat page from Facebook itself, trying to analyze the site traffic, usage clicks, status updates and whatnots - sorry I didn't read everything... But what if the developers of Facebook just want to update their stats while "offline" and actively determine how many of these users are quite dependent on their facebook accounts? For business communication, family affairs, keeping touch with friends or just spying on ex-boyfriends. What if they just want to know how many of these facebook fanatics and addicts will try with all their might to directly contact facebook people and complain about the extended "site maintenance"?

Hmmm? How about that? What do you think?

Dakota Fanning Being Normal

"This may hurt just a little."

Yet the New Moon star knows just how to be normal. (Is it normal to be a member of the cheerleading squad?)

She was even elected as one of the Princesses of the Homecoming Court. How cute.  :)

Anyway, off to a meeting I go... lol!

Internal Auditing means Using your Brain

This has been a dilemma for so long - making other people understand how literally brain-rattling and mind-boggling Internal Auditing is. At least in our company.

A lot of people have long since underestimated our department, and so far, I have grown tired of trying to prove them wrong - because I have just realized that I need not try. They ARE wrong.

Internal auditing has been a burden and a blessing. A blessing for it flexes our brain tissues, wears out our thinking caps, and even tires our logic and rational thinking, which they cannot get from simply doing the same thing everyday - checking receipts, updating their excel files, saving, printing, typing, updating the system, depositing the cash, coming back, typing again, saving, printing, going home. A blessing for it allows us to exercise judgment and character analysis, profiling people we meet just like in Criminal Minds. A blessing for it develops our grammar, improves our sentence construction, polishes our writing skills - for who else can concisely and precisely convey 5 thoughts in one sentence, with formality and classic elegance yet exudes authority and wisdom.

But at times, our work becomes a burden. Biologically, for it kills more brain cells than normal people do, exposes us more to light and radiation thanks to our nifty laptops. Wears our finger joints and makes us prone to arthritis from too much typing and clicking. Burdensome, for at times we face our enemies, give them smiles despite our earnest desire to stay away. We need a more modulated voice while talking to people just so they won't think they are being apprehended for pulling down the Eiffel tower, a straight face while watching them tell a lie and miserably sucking at it.

It's a heavy thing to carry - our burdens - because with these are the stares and the glares of people who do not understand. Who cannot and may not ever grasp the fact why we exist. Why we do what we do and do them the way we do. Who, for the love of God, cannot even start to comprehend why we look as if we're not doing anything, just sitting around staring at our screens or staring at the ceiling. They may not realize that inside our steady heads are the huge brains working overtime, trying, looking for even the tiniest loopholes that every other executive has failed to see.

We appear to be just chatting around or relaxing, holding that glass of cold water or mug of hot coffee - the only time they say they see us come out of our fortress. They see us talk to others, with a smile and an open joke that we laugh at every now and then. Or walking towards the mess hall or from the buffet area full from the "perks of our position". But they don't understand. These were just the times, the very short ones, that we consider as breaks, the time we interact with the outside world we tend to forget while deciphering, discerning, the facts of cases even investigators can't crack open. These are the links we keep alive, the very same links we get "useless" news from. So useless they help us understand the connections between who we are talking to and who we really need to talk to. What we are looking at against the thing we really need to look into.

But they don't understand. Instead they say our work is so easy that routine tasks you can do while sleeping is nastier. That adding figures is so much more challenging than convincing a manager that he has in fact bent rules and thinking it's fine. That saving files and printing them to be filed up in boxes is more interesting than interviewing five to six people and merging their stories to determine who really was at fault. That being busy typing and marking papers and receipts is more rewarding than figuring out how to help their company, OUR company, save hundred and hundreds of pesos every month.

Use your brain. Even just for a short while. Even for a minute a day. Try to understand - why internal auditing means using your brain.

Farmville Friend Fertilizers & Dairy Farms

Have you noticed the updates on Farmville? Try visiting a neighbors farm and you'll see these icons at the bottom left of your farmville window, these are the fertilizers. You get them by helping out friends  in their farms performing missions like pulling out weeds, shooing away foxes and birds, etc.. those kinds of missions that just pop out of nowehere. And apparently, you do not get the fertilizers if you go directly to a neighbor's farm to help out. Currently, I ran out of these fertilizers, so I just borrowed these pics from lightchan.

You would normally receive about 5 of these fertilizer bags which you can use to add "sparkle" to your friends' crops. You would later notice that fertilized crops have the sparkles on them. Just like these berries, pic taken from Carla's farm. (click on the image to enlarge)

And when the crops are ready for harvest, you would see the difference in size as compared to the crops that were not fertilized, see the pic of my farm and notice the difference between the corn kernels.  :)

Also, once you harvest the sparkly crops, you'll notice that you earn 1XP point for each plot, in addition to the selling price and master points.

And oh, if you have a lot of cows, I'd advise you get dairy farms and milking those cows will be as fast as two clicks. Or something.  :)

One dairy farm can house 20 cows, all you have to do is click on a cow, select move, and move it into the dairy farm, and then wait for harvest! I mean, milking time...

I hope Farmville develops a shearing farm or something for the sheep and a milking station for the goats too.
*sigh*

And if we're not neighbors yet, just, add me...  :)

Lesser Facebook Friends in Live Feed!

That was why my readership from my facebook friends has slowly dwindled! Facebook has made updates with their system and this is what happened:

The new facebook setup has limited the number of friends's newsfeeds to where your updates are published to a default of 250; meaning, if you have 1,000 friends, your updates will only be published in the newsfeeds of just 250 of them! Imagine! (This is also why Mafia Wars jobs have slow response, and even adoption of farmville animals... lol!)

So to remedy this, go to your home/newsfeed. Then look at the very bottom part, there's a blue bar with Edit Options at the right area: (click image to enlarge)

Click on that Edit Options thing and this will pop-out:

Change the Maximum number of friends in Live Feed into your actual number of friends or even more.

Got it?

Good.

Stupid Questions deserve Sarcastic Answers

I told you before, but you didn't listen.

Ask me stupid questions and you'll get annoying answers slathered with sarcasm and a dash of tactlessness.

Like, which is harder, typing two phrases to ask something..

Or, click once on that link/tab titled "PROFILE"?

Hmm?

Sheesh.

Need Viagra? Just ask your partner to FART!

As crazy as it may sound, I know a family who would totally be amused at this new research thing... *ehem*

Anyway, blogs around the net has started abuzz regarding this new "discovery" - hydrogen sulfide in flatulence can help out a male having a bit of difficulty having an erection (really?) to actually have one, without shelling out a lot to buy viagra online, or offline.

According to them, the hydrogen sulfide in those stinky farts have recently been shown to relax the walls of major blood vessels, allowing more blood flow, and I think, making it go full attention.

An Italian university, though it still remains unnamed as of this post, has found enzymes that produce Hydrogen Sulfide in human penile tissue.Injecting this tissue with H2S dilated the blood vessels, while injecting it into the penises of live rats produced erections. (Rats have erections? Really?)

So for the layman, the advantages: a free source of, ehrm, standing power for guys - doesn't cost a single penny, all natural, and may not cause too much embarrassment from the pharmacists ('coz you're pretty much admitting you're having problems going up if you buy viagra!).

Disadvantages: the darn rotten-egg smell, embarrassment from partner (if she's not that used to hearing you fart so loud!), and the urgent need to concentrate to get the perfect timing and coordination between the fart and the need to have an erection.

So.

I'd still ask you to stop farting.

For additional reading, here's another one of those studies that says farts can lower blood pressure.
