Dingdong & Marian - NOT their First Engagement!

It’s trending and I got curious what’s the fuss. Although I totally applaud Marian for that particular program’s opening number. She danced really well. I thought the only steps she knew was the gyrating hips for Marimar. Haha. But for those who haven’t seen the youtube video versions, check them out from Marian Rivera’s Youtube channel and directly go to part 4/5 so you can watch the proposal (or just see the video I embedded, after the jump). And for you to notice something  that may or may not have been clearly noticeable with the telecast version which, by the way, was live and kept the stars on their toes because they’re so used to just recording episodes and airing them weeks later.

He's Not Perfect... Don't Analyze!

I just saw a nice post from Leo Lastimosa's google+ profile, and I found it intriguing that a person with a misunderstood reputation such as Bob Marley can be capable of saying such things...

Here's a very good example..

"He’s not perfect. You aren’t either, and the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice, and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold onto him and give him the most you can. He isn’t going to quote poetry, he’s not thinking about you every moment, but he will give you a part of him that he knows you could break. Don’t hurt him, don’t change him, and don’t expect for more than he can give. Don’t analyze. Smile when he makes you happy, yell when he makes you mad, and miss him when he’s not there. Love hard when there is love to be had. Because perfect guys don’t exist, but there’s always one guy that is perfect for you." — Bob Marley

I have been thinking of writing something for Tom for the last 2 days... We had just passed by our 2nd wedding anniversary and so far, things have been going greatly. We haven't had any big problems by the grace of God, and also, we now have a sweat pea baby Phoenix who occupies most of our time nowadays...  :)

But setting all these aside, including the fact that he also posted something on his wall that almost made me cry, the above quote would most probably engulf all what I had to say about him for more than 9 years of being together (okay, I didn't count the break! :> )..

He's that ONE guy...

:-*

Robert Kiyosaki's Cashflow 101, 102

Tom and I have been spending a rather sizable chunk of our free time playing Cashflow 202. We have both Cashflow 101 and 202, but I'm speaking for the both of us when I say I like 202 better. It's more "challenging".

You can see Tom's evident like of the game since he refers to commonplace expenses such as taxi fare, green mangoes, movies, and even an ice cream stick as "Doodads".

Anyway, did you know that there's also a website called Rich Woman? It's more tailored for women and our needs. To visit the site, go to www.richwoman.com.

Never Gonna Be Alone

If ever.... I was forced to redo my whole wedding... (I used the word forced, because by choice, I wouldn't redo anything!)... I'd make sure that it was nicer for my family, and Tom's too. I wouldn't let anything, I mean not a single thing, get between myself and my family enjoying and imprinting this memory on our curly brains. Why would I say that?

Because... there were just too many nuisances during my wedding day! One thing is that mom and dad were just not acting normal. Mom was too silent, too zombie-ish. Dad was like, "Is Gov ok? Is Cong ok?".. Grrrhh. {Sorry, but it did get into my nerve later that day...You know what happened.} And as I see it, making himself too busy to notice the feeling of losing her daughter to his now son-in-law. Hmmm. It was also not so memorable for Tom's parents, except for the fact that they were too busy directing car pool and directing the crazy waiters where to bring the food. yes, the waiters were almost useless majority of the time.

But then again... Everything was really very good. I think all of those were already planned and there reallyw as nothing we could've done to prevent them.

Anyway, if we were even allowed to do a wedding dance, I would have chosen Butterfly Kisses for my Dad and I... or maybe this:

or this:

Nickelback's Never Gonna be Alone...  If it can be slow-danced to, you know. Harhar.

Sher & Petro

I'm still not over this you guys. See? I'm even making you the title of my post!

Heck yeah. I was so blown over by shock by the photos that slowly nicked at the corner of my eye. Caught my attention and curiosity, I even thought you guys were joking! Just couldn't and wouldn't have thought of the unlikely unity of these two independent minds. Like.... who would have even thought about it? Oh well, maybe your other close friends who knew historical details of some sort. But for the common folks like myself?! Lol! I'm still in shock! Not that I don't like you two being together or anything - I absolutely favor it. It's just that it wouldn't have crossed my mind unless somebody would have deliberately suggested it.

This is now my unforgettable unnecessary information for the time-being...even overshadowed my own wedding! lol!

Anyways, see both of you soon.. Somewhere, anywhere... :)

Barely 70+ days to the Big Day

Crap. It's soooo near!

Barely 75 or so more days and I'm finally be a missus. *Giddy*

Anyway, I'm in Davao City right now, in an unconnected business trip to audit one of our auditables. You raising your eyebrow yet? Lol!

Okay, without too much beating around the bush, here are some updates to my wedding preparations. We have chosen the shop that'll do my dress and all the lady entourage's dresses. And the boutique owner has also given us with a fabulous discount! Yey!

... but before you get carried away, let me announce that I have - again - made a separate blog dedicated to all the wedding prep and maybe some other gory details... harhar!

Hear ye, hear ye... The rest of this post can be found in Tom & Cathy - This is OUR Day...

Thanks for the support, go ahead and quench your curiosity.
