Filipino ID Card - I Have Issues that need to be Clarified!!!

Saw an article in PhilStar today - House pushes issuance of 'Filipino ID Card'

1. Ok, 1 ID number for life, or until a person reaches 18. Why 18? Does that mean you get to change your entire identity when your 18?

2. "other revisions deemed necessary by the cardholder" -- so that should mean that the government should not deny changes to a person's 1-number-for-life ID just because 'deemed necessary', right?!?

3. So what if I just got that new unified ID for sss/phic/pagibig, and now this new Filipino ID? And what about those with professional license numbers? The TIN number/ID?

4. So this ID will totally scrap out the relatively newly implemented unified ID for sss/gsis/pagibig/phic, right? Which also just scrapped out that other new unification for other IDs before that I can't remember anymore -- which are half-baked plans that underwent half-baked implementations. Right?

5. Will the banks and other GOCC's and corporations stop asking for at least 2 government issued ID's as requirement? Because that's going to be weird.

Hmmm, how come, all of a sudden, there's this BIG project that can potentially make 1 or 2 or 3 major suppliers of plastic ID cards so rich starting, let's say 2015/2016? Are we fishing for supporters and financial support for 2016 because you just lost PDAF and DAP, huh Government?


But I guess I have to read that bill (House Bill 5060).

Let me Rant on my Own Little Blog

Because....

These new staff are just f****** irritating. They just don't seem to know what to do! I did NOT really want them on board because their respective interview results were just not satisfactory enough but my supervisor, for the love of God, wanted them in.

And now, this one guy, who always brings tissue paper whenever he goes to the restroom (are you gay?!) always asks stupid questions. Questions that anyone who has tried auditing at least once in his short life can answer. I believe he absolutely thinks that if he asked me what to do and I gave him the answers, in other words, spoon-fed his lame ass, he wouldn't have problems later when I check his work.

Oh really?! I DON'T THINK SO!!!!

I'm not senile, I can remember what things I've discussed in detail, what comments and tips I've given, what reading materials I gave, what other sorts of prep I told them to do, I've exhausted my patience showing them how to do one audit at a time, step by f****** step. And still!?! This...person...isn't sure what to do and keeps on asking these irritatingly stupid questions!

I'm sorry, but I'm not your mom to spoon-feed you. If your teachers gave you everything during college so you can pass their subjects, be called a graduate and pass your freaking board exams, well, I'm different. We went to the same university, that's why I KNOW what kind of education you should have gotten. We dealt with more or less the same teachers, that's why I KNOW what kind of people gave you your undergrad arsenal. I took the same board exams you took and passed it too, that's why I KNOW that you can manage to use your brain for thinking.

For pete's sake man, use your f****** brain! And while trying to do that, please bear in mind, tattoo it in your skin if you need to, I can see past your antics, I've been in this department for more than 3 years already, I've dealt with even more difficult auditees that what you're supposedly having difficulty with right now, colleagues, even supervisors, so take my word for it, I'M NOT STUPID!

And please, stop talking to yourself, stop using the other staff's stuff, stop re-arranging the office furniture, the bulletin board, etc..stop poking your nose on things your not supposed to meddle with! Because if I wanted any of that crap, I'd do it myself.

Why Government Run Newspaper is NOT Good

Because they will filter/screen information...

And edit pictures to their satisfaction.

Hey Newbie, Be Warned.

To tell you honestly, you must be very careful. You're treading on thin ice here. I'm just quietly observing. So far, you're on your way to being the second person who didn't get past regularization in this department (probably even this whole company).

Seriously.

You applied for this job, you should at least show interest with what you're supposed to be doing. Auditing doesn't mean you just email people and wait for their replies. You have to get on your feet and go to your auditees, interview them, look at their facial reactions, dig for the documents if you have to. Don't just sit there and warm your office chair. You're not being paid to act as if you're the boss. Just waiting to get instructed and waiting for more. You're not supposed to ask me what you should out in your report because you were supposed to be the who was auditing, right? All the resources are available, you have soft copies, you can borrow the printed forms, you can interview, you can photocopy.. You just have to get your lazy as*s off that friggin' chair and start BEING the auditor you told us you can be during your dang interview!!!

Proofreading is a must. So is getting the CORRECT information.

No Longer a DOFOLLOW Blog

I shifted back to being a nofollow blog. And I sincerely think that Blogger should have a spam blocking mechanism with their comments or a way to block a certain user from ever trying to comment again because I have this really annoying blog reader that uses Chinese characters in his/her username and sometimes in the beginning of his/her comment. And every time I see the email notification that I got that comment again, my blood usually boils and if I could just see that person, I'd strangle him/her.

He/she may actually think I don't get what he/she is trying at all. And you're absolutely wrong. I've been using the internet for quite a bit already, and so I know if you're trying to embed adult/pron sites in the URLs linked to several dots and periods within your comment. I'm not stupid. I'd rather think you should just stop because I'd never share PR with you or any of your porn sites. I hope and pray that you understand the meaning of this blog not being a dofollow blog anymore so you'd just stop annoying me with your stupid comments.

Unsolicited P.O.V. on Loren Legarda

Would anyone of a kind soul tell Loren Legarda that she has to stop SAYING ALOUD that she will win the elections?!

Frankly speaking, as a viewer and an observer of the events of this year's national elections, everytime survey results are published and announced in the news and Loren is asked about what she has to say about her sinking lower and lower, all she says is that,

"Bahala na po ang survey kung sino sa ating mga kalaban ang panalo sa survey na yan, basta alam po natin na ang mga tao nasa atin po ang boto, at sa huli ay tayo po ang mananalo sa eleksyon dahil tayo po ang gusto ng taongbayan."

Oh please! Give me a break! What happens to those of us who still needs convincing is that we get ticked by listening to her overconfidence. Even if she means well, can somebody just please tell her that she has a choice, and that is to just keep quiet. Believe me, every time she opens her mouth and says things like that she sounds more and more like her opponents - the ones she so hates and refers to every time she gets interviewed by media or maybe the ones she always throws mud on during campaign sorties. I mean, really, overconfident. She even sounds more annoying in trying to sound like a sensitive, soft spoken Filipina (in this case, I'm using the term to refer to a Filipino-speaking Philippine-born female human). Well, you really don't represent, act or look like one, and trying too hard doesn't do you any good at all.

And even says there will be and automatic people power if he's not declared the winner in the May 10 polls? Isn't that a little presumptive of him to think that he IS really going to be the next president? Doesn't this make you think that there really is something being cooked because he is now 100% sure that he'd win over the others?

Because it is fairly obvious that there is indeed no seed of doubt in his mind that there is even a chance that the surveys and even the volume of people in his campaign sorties are NOT indicative of the election results. A tinge too conceited of him. And I find these traits destructive for a nation's leader - if that ever happens.
