Urges.

Sometimes when I see or read or even hear about things in the internet that was so witty it's funny, I get these urges to start some project of some sort to showcase witty one-liners or sarcastic phrases/sentences that not so many would easily understand. Then the problem pops out:

Who would stay long enough to even understand what I'm saying?!

Ugh.

Maybe that's why I just have this blog.

You May Have NOT Noticed it Yet...

But isn't there something with Quinn Fabray of Glee? Doesn't she look a little familiar or something, you can quite point a finger on it exactly?

Tom and I have been watching Glee now, so far we haven't missed an episode yet from season 2, and hopefully we don't. We've been a little fascinated with Quinn's face and we both think she's pretty, in a sweet yet snotty/cheerleader-ish sort of way. And it just occurred to me early this morning...

Isn't it because sometimes she seems to have something similar with Jessica Alba's face? Not entire like two peas in a pod, but there are certain angles or maybe facial features that's similar with Jessica's. Anyway, for effort, here's a picture of both of them.

Well, that's just my opinion.
What do you think?

Do You Play Farmville?

If you're an active farmer in Famrville, you would definitely appreciate this firefox add-on:

Feed Filter.

You can see the details at their homepage, plus the download link. But since you're reading this blog, I'll just immediately give you the download link..

http://www.chocolatesoftware.com/firefox/download/feed_filter-1.4.1.xpi

Once you've installed it and firefox has restarted, go to the add-ons pop-up window (Tools - Add-ons) then click on Extensions and look for Feed Filter. You can adjust the settings in the Option button located at the left side.

April Boy Songs and Lyrics

You don't want to hear them, but radios are blaring with them.
You don't want to remember them, but it keeps ringing in your head.
You don't want to memorize the words, but you remember.
You don't want to sing them, but you hum along.
You love to hate them, because they're simply April Boy's songs.

Difference Between USA & Philippines

We were feeling filthy rich last night so we bought 1/4 kilo of lechon (roast pig) for dinner. After devouring it, Tom and I decided to take a walk around the village. We always have chats, whether the topics are nonsense or seriously brain boggling.

We passed by a house with their tv facing the window; the show was Agua Bendita. You can laugh at me for saying this, but I do watch Agua Bendita, for the simplest reason that the director really knows what he's doing, Andie as Agua sounds freakishly weird for being too soft-spoken and Pilar Pilapil is such a hateful grandmother it's getting unrealistic.

Anyway, so Tom nonchalantly asks,

~
Tom: "Nie, do you know the difference between the US and Philippines?

Me: [thinking hard as to what he's up to so I can blurt out a comeback even if he hasn't started yet... but to no avail..] "Not really. What is it?"

Tom: "US has two political parties and a lot of channels..."

[He hasn't even finished yet when I choked on my own laughter because I already knew what was coming. Good thing I wasn't drinking anything or else it'll spurt out of my nostrils!]

Tom: "while the Philippines has two channels and a LOT of political parties!"
~

To explain the humor of it, he was referring to the two major channels your antenna can catch if you don't have cable.

;)

Catch my hubby at his twitter account, but he's a bit inactive right now, but still! @engrmotmot

These Sudden Brownouts

Officemate shrieked like a girl when the lights suddenly went off; he said he was concerned about losing his files - he was using a laptop.

How will our Baby Look Like?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not yet pregnant, at least that's what I know.  :)

I was lurking in facebook when I saw someone else try to predict her friend's baby's future face. And.... As curious as anyone can be, I tried it out. Entered this address on my browser, http://www.morphthing.com, registered and just followed instructions.

And according to morphthing, here's how our offspring may look like:

And he/she has blue eyes.

;)

ps:
Ate Jovie's is officially, pregnant! yay!  Congratulations Ate Jovie, and EJ, you're really gonna be called Ate EJ already!  :)  Because last Christmas Ej was actually "forcing" me that I she wants to change her name into Christine Elealeh Joy, and that her nickname should be ATE Christine. lol! At least the "Ate" part came true...  ;)

At Last - Just Dance Acapella!

This video has been circulating facebook for quite a long while now, and I'm sure has been featured in tv shows for making such a ruckus.

In fairness, they ARE really good. And so at last! I decided to finally watch and listen to it. Curiosity just killed the cat.

Here it is:

Busy and Productive Morning, Hopefully

Seems I may have to pray a little harder.

I need to have a productive busy morning every once in a while, and this is one of those mornings when I really want to have that kind of experience.

Not that I'm saying I'm not at all busy - yes I am, super at that.. But not very productive. I usually spend my days conjuring up audit programs and audit plans for my department, holding meetings with the bosses (official or not), or just listening to them tattle about things they are frustrated about - office related or personal - without even thinking if the person they're talking to is not at all disappointed with whatever things are happening. Hmmm. Martyrdom? Nah.

Anyway, started the morning with Coke in my hands. Not a good idea, right? But I'm still sleepy my monitor blurs out. So I just raided my google reader subscriptions and decided to join another online contest. What the heck, if I win, cool. If not. At least I tried, didn't I?

What to do, what to do. I actually have a meeting this morning, an issue that needs discretion. And my people have an ongoing thing right, of which I'm not so happy. They're beginning to be pain-in-the-arses that I just resulted to just shutting up for a while. Not a good leadership thing to do, but I think I just have to give them a bit of wriggling space to be able to start "thinking" on their own. As usual, have online work. Badz already told me yesterday they are about to start talking to a client about my "online services". Yay! Money, money, money. Less hassle, less tangle, more inflow! I just need more braincells and a decent internet connection. Fair enough.

And oh, I have about 3 - 5 articles left unwritten for another online client. Darn it. She's already asked for updates, but this "issue" I'm handling in the office right now is just more important. But I'll get back to you, I promise!

By the way, do you like to join that contest I was babbling about? Click here.

Someone Replied! lol!

And from such an unexpected username - Red Apple.

Red Apple said I may have actually "inspired" him to start blogging or something and such a good blog follower he is, he commented on my post.

And guess what he said:

"Send me some samples first.."

Hmm.. Such confidence my dear. Lol!

A funny way to start the morning.  :)

The Real Britney Voice

Do you really wanna know how Britney Spears sounds in real life, during her concerts when she thinks her mike is muted, and she's thinking that she's just lip synching? (If this is a word...)

Here it is. Sorry if you actually bought an original britney spears album.
