He's Not Perfect... Don't Analyze!

I just saw a nice post from Leo Lastimosa's google+ profile, and I found it intriguing that a person with a misunderstood reputation such as Bob Marley can be capable of saying such things...

Here's a very good example..

"He’s not perfect. You aren’t either, and the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice, and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold onto him and give him the most you can. He isn’t going to quote poetry, he’s not thinking about you every moment, but he will give you a part of him that he knows you could break. Don’t hurt him, don’t change him, and don’t expect for more than he can give. Don’t analyze. Smile when he makes you happy, yell when he makes you mad, and miss him when he’s not there. Love hard when there is love to be had. Because perfect guys don’t exist, but there’s always one guy that is perfect for you." — Bob Marley

I have been thinking of writing something for Tom for the last 2 days... We had just passed by our 2nd wedding anniversary and so far, things have been going greatly. We haven't had any big problems by the grace of God, and also, we now have a sweat pea baby Phoenix who occupies most of our time nowadays...  :)

But setting all these aside, including the fact that he also posted something on his wall that almost made me cry, the above quote would most probably engulf all what I had to say about him for more than 9 years of being together (okay, I didn't count the break! :> )..

He's that ONE guy...

A Real Man Uses Neutrogena Wave

As I mentioned yesterday, I thought Tom would be interested in my new Neutrogena Wave. As usual, I was right.

After seeing a movie, we went straight home. Since I was excited, I immediately opened the Neutrogena Wave box and started putting the battery inside, reading other things on the box, smelling the pads, etc...while keeping an eye on my husband. I noticed he went straight to bathroom and took a shower.

I was waiting for him to finish up so I can try the Wave already when he suddenly jumped right out of the bathroom door and sheepishly said, "Nie, how do you use that?" *smile*

I thought so! He was as interested as a 4-year-old boy is with matchsticks, plugs and sockets!

Guess he liked it a bit... but got kinda got discouraged when he asked me how much the refill pack for the Wave was. Lol!

Updates in Tagalog..

O baka, may anting-anting sya? Hmmm.

Bakit kaya ganun noh?

Basta.. O, ayan... tapos na. Bow.

Difference Between USA & Philippines

We were feeling filthy rich last night so we bought 1/4 kilo of lechon (roast pig) for dinner. After devouring it, Tom and I decided to take a walk around the village. We always have chats, whether the topics are nonsense or seriously brain boggling.

We passed by a house with their tv facing the window; the show was Agua Bendita. You can laugh at me for saying this, but I do watch Agua Bendita, for the simplest reason that the director really knows what he's doing, Andie as Agua sounds freakishly weird for being too soft-spoken and Pilar Pilapil is such a hateful grandmother it's getting unrealistic.

Anyway, so Tom nonchalantly asks,

~
Tom: "Nie, do you know the difference between the US and Philippines?

Me: [thinking hard as to what he's up to so I can blurt out a comeback even if he hasn't started yet... but to no avail..] "Not really. What is it?"

Tom: "US has two political parties and a lot of channels..."

[He hasn't even finished yet when I choked on my own laughter because I already knew what was coming. Good thing I wasn't drinking anything or else it'll spurt out of my nostrils!]

Tom: "while the Philippines has two channels and a LOT of political parties!"
~

To explain the humor of it, he was referring to the two major channels your antenna can catch if you don't have cable.

;)

Catch my hubby at his twitter account, but he's a bit inactive right now, but still! @engrmotmot

Hi, Still Alive. How’re you?

So I decided to visit my blog. Just because. And of course, since I didn’t delete it, it’s still here. Stagnant. Just observing. Doing noth...
