Manoy Noli

It's a crazy day, mainly because Girlie was here in the office!!!!

{Hahaha, hello Girl, I know you're reading this.
And hello MJ!!! Ay! I promised nga pala not to mention your name again. Duh. }

Anyway, so we chatted for a while, almost got late for lunch. Also, I went around the function areas and looked around for something fishy. And guess what I caught? A Vice-President. Yep, you read that right, the Vice President of the Philippines.

He was just calmly sitting there in a beige (was that really beige) sofa set up near the function area where he was the key note speaker for CREBA, and he was talking to two ladies, and guy apparently, from where-the-heck company (of course I didn't bother to ask where they're from, I was almost face to face with "Manoy Noli" for crying out loud!!!). I think he was reviewing a policy of some kind because he was so intent on reading although there was very poor lighting, and then he spoke in a low voice, well, at least low enough not to be blurred out by the noise surrounding him and yet loud enough, because the media people promptly turned silent as the dead when he started talking. (okay, that may be a little exaggerated, but this is my blog, you know...)

Sorry for the blurred shot, as you all know, my phone's a little low-tech. Anyway, I still have to go home and watch "Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader", so tata!

** PS: Congrats to a friend for making it to the top 6 on his pre-board examination... Nice work part! hehehe

**PS #2: ERAP was formally granted his executive clemency this morning. Although it was announced yesterday in a press conference. This is history guys! Make noise! I'll still have to research on how's clemency different from the simple term "pardon".

"I love walking in the rain cause then no one knows im crying."

I think there is choice possible to us at any moment, as long as we live. But there is no sacrifice. There is a choice, and the rest falls away. Second choice does not exist. Beware of those who talk about sacrifice.

Lost in the Years

Has it ever occurred to you, that one day you realize that all was gone with the passing of time? They all got lost in the years.

I was doing my usual thought-sorting and was slapped with the fact that, girl, didn't you notice? Almost all of your goals and dreams in the next 5 years or so have already gone crashing down on you? The plans that you carefully built and managed to slowly reach bit by bit has already been scrapped out? I am now just an ordinary happy-go-lucky lady. Whatever happens from now on shall be the work of faith and fate, not my own plans, not my own decisions. I feel I'm too tired to even plan for tomorrow. I can't think straight, I can't even establish a decent goal and find the reins to pull to get myself going. I can't even reach a simple objective as passing a report. I want to go home and take some time off but I dunno. As long as I'm alone with myself I go into this semi/mild depression thing. At least I have my tv babbling away the silence. And my mp3 phone playing songs that help me doze off so I can consciously stop thinking for about 7-8 hours. Sometimes I even think of getting another job in Manila, but that's going to be too far away from my family. I also consider the southern parts of the archipelago, but it's a little bit war-ish for me. Maybe I'll have to just slug it out here in Cebu, always having that possibility of seeing face to face the ghosts that now haunt my existence. Sometimes I wish it were them that could leave this freakin' island. I don't know how much of this torture I can take, but I'm still alive and holding on.

If only I can wish something so bad that it's granted immediately,

I'd wish for amnesia and $100 million.

Advice for Myself?

From Email to You

It's been a while, huh?

I'm actually trying this feature of blogger where you can post thru email since last week, a friend from within the offices told me that it was brought up in the department heads meeting that the IT manager said that it was because of employees accessing the internet network that's why when the big boss is the one using it, the connection is slow. And it's exactly because of this that the said IT manager is now monitoring all users of the network including the sites visited, the amount of time that they spent on the net, and the time when they started using the internet. So, since I definitely use up a lot of time blogging, I thought maybe, just to NOT annoy people, I won't access the net for a while.

And well, I personally think that the IT's idea of why the connection is slow is just as slow as his thinking process. I think there are other reasons why the connection is slow, and I definitely do not think that it's because of the employees' use. Come to think of it, very few employees have internet access. And included in those few peple are all the IT personnel who use Yahoo messenger quite a lot (and now they put the blame on others! Grrrhhh!)

I also believe that these darn IT people have undisclosed and unrestricted access to all company emails. For one thing, they are the administrators and I definitely believ that they've set the company emails to give them a bcc all the time, imagine the flooding! I can only imagine the infinite amount of information, whether official or not, that IT people can have access to. Aside from that, it's a known fact that it's quite human nature to be a gossip. Hmmm. Amazing.

{If so, they'd be having a blast reading this and also, trying to figure out where this post is headed. Hehehe!}

Anyway, my tummy's grumbling already, I'm so darn hungry.

And oh, you want updates on what's new with my non-existent love life? I'd have to think about it first. Don't want you to blow your brains out just thinking about the annoying facts of the said "non-existent" love life. Hohum... It's quite terrible you know, you'd learn to hate me if you just knew everything. :)

So, until next post? I hope this works.

:)
